    Sometimes conventional medicine focuses only on treating the symptoms, with GP’s generally not having the time to delve deeper into the patients history to get a better understanding of their presentation.

    Clinical Naturopath’s believe in the healing power of nature, that the body can be supported back to good health through nutritional and herbal medicine, alongside targeted lifestyle changes. We also utilise functional testing to better understand what is going on in the body and why certain symptoms may be presenting.

  • Naturopaths undergo a four-year Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) degree with extensive study in human biological science, biochemistry, nutrition, pathology, pharmacology and Western herbal medicine, along with 12 months of clinical training.

    To practice, a naturopath must be registered with or accredited by an association. (ATMS, NHAA, ANTA etc.) They must also undergo 30 hours of CPD per financial year.

  • Yes. I utilise both conventional pathology testing and selected functional assessments when clinically appropriate.   • Yes. Naturopathic care is generally considered safe when provided by a qualified and appropriately trained practitioner. Treatment plans are individualised and take into account factors such as age, health history, medications, life stage, and potential contraindications to help ensure recommendations are both safe and suitable for your needs.
